Business Statement

Muirden Energy is committed to the development of renewable energy throughout Scotland. Working in partnership with local landowners to develop, build and operate wind turbine projects.

The business has close ties to Fred Duncan farms and it is combining this practical farming approach to the wind energy sector that is proving to be very successful.

Our Projects

We have succesfully developed 15.4MWs of operational wind power at our Strath of Brydock, Newton of Fortrie and Mains of Hatton sites.

A further 13.6MW's is consented between 18 sites, ranging from 225kW's to 2.4MW's.

We currently have over 10 projects in planning with sites ranging form 225kW's to 27.6MWs and various other projects at different stages of the pre-planning process.
