WHO WE ARE
Muirden Energy was set up by Fred Duncan and David Green in 2009. We are based at Muirden Farm in Turriff, Aberdeenshire, in the heart of Fred's farming business, Duncan Farms. Our team is split across the Turriff site and our Dundee office, which opened in 2021, though we are regularly found on site. Our combined practical agricultural knowledge, as well as renewable planning and development expertise, has allowed us to expand our business and we have built approximately 30 successful projects to date.
WHAT WE DO
At Muirden Energy, we are committed to the development of renewable energy throughout Scotland. We work with and alongside local landowners to develop, build and operate wind turbine, solar energy and battery storage projects. We are proficient in all aspects of environmental planning and development, from feasibility studies and EIAR to construction, onsite management, rates appeals, asset analysis and reporting.
