Bonerbo Supporting Life Saving Charity!

As part of our community benefit scheme, a Windfarm we manage down in fife has supported it's first charity of 2023. Funds from the turbine have gone to the East Neuk First Responders, to aid them in purchasing new resources and equipment to enhance the service they provide to the individuals in the East Neuk.

With the money they have been able to purchase new lifting tools to support them on emergency calls, unifroms for new volunteers, an iPad for data storage and resources to create packs for their new project 'School CPR Lifesaver'. This is a program where the volunteers will visit schools and nurseries in the East Neuk providing CPR and Defib training, the children will be provided with take home packs where they can teach their families what they have learnt. The packs will be returned and the children will be awarded with certificates. All funded by the Bonerbo Windfarm.

We met with Gillian on Tuesday 21st of February. She showed us some of the new equipment and was able to tell us all about this new school project. She advised that we can keep up with there progress on the facebook page. Such an amazing Charity that the community rely on highly.
